gloami Launch Prize Draw: Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is Houselites Ltd, trading as gloami, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 16 Seymour Ave, Heysham, LA3 2JR (“the Promoter”).
The prize is being provided in collaboration with Theatre Tokens. Theatre Tokens is not responsible for the administration of the prize draw.
2. Eligibility
The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, excluding employees of Houselites Ltd, anyone directly involved in administering the promotion, and members of their immediate households.
3. Entry period
The prize draw opens at 2 October and closes at 31 December 23:59.
Entries received after the closing time will not be included.
4. How to enter
Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.
To enter, participants must during the promotional period:
create a free gloami account; and
successfully log their first show in gloami
Once both steps have been completed, the participant will automatically receive one entry into the prize draw.
Only one entry per person is permitted. Creating additional accounts or logging additional shows will not create additional entries.
Existing gloami users who created an account before the promotion opened may enter by logging at least one new gloam during the promotional period.
5. The prize
One winner will receive £100 in Theatre Tokens.
The prize is subject to Theatre Tokens' own terms and conditions and any restrictions applying to their use.
There is no cash alternative and the prize cannot be exchanged by the Promoter for another prize.
6. Selecting the winner
The winner will be selected at random from all valid eligible entries received before the closing date.
The draw will take place within 7 days of the closing date using a verifiably random selection process.
7. Notification and claiming the prize
The winner will be contacted using the email address associated with their gloami account within 7 days of the draw.
The winner must respond within 7 days of being contacted.
If the winner:
cannot be contacted;
does not respond within that period;
is found to be ineligible; or
has not complied with these terms,
the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and randomly select another eligible winner.
8. Winner information
The Promoter will announce the winner across social platforms.
The winner may object to their information being published or ask for the amount of information published to be reduced. Where required, the Promoter may still provide winner information to the Advertising Standards Authority.
9. Personal data
Personal information supplied in connection with the prize draw will be used to administer the promotion, verify entries, contact the winner and provide the prize.
It will be handled in accordance with gloami's Privacy Policy.
Entering the prize draw does not automatically consent the entrant to receive marketing communications. Any marketing preferences will be managed separately.
10. Invalid entries
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries where it reasonably believes that:
false information has been provided;
multiple accounts have been created to obtain additional entries;
automated or fraudulent methods have been used; or
these terms have otherwise been breached.
11. Availability of gloami
The Promoter is not responsible for entries which are not successfully completed because of technical faults, connectivity problems or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
12. Changes or cancellation
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where circumstances outside its reasonable control make this unavoidable.
Any changes will be made in a way that is fair to entrants and consistent with applicable promotional rules.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for loss or damage arising from use of the prize except where caused by the Promoter's negligence or otherwise required by law.
14. Theatre Tokens
The use of Theatre Tokens is subject to the terms and conditions issued by Theatre Tokens.
Theatre Tokens' involvement is limited to the prize/collaboration agreed with the Promoter and does not make Theatre Tokens responsible for administering entries or selecting the winner.
15. Social media
Where the prize draw is promoted through Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or other social platforms, it is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with those platforms.
16. Governing law
These terms and the prize draw are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and entrants may bring proceedings in their local UK courts where applicable.
